Eames Plastic Chairs –  Vitra

As early as the 1950s, Charles and Ray Eames introduced a series of bases that allowed for various seating positions. The Eames Plastic Chairs introduced a new type of furniture, which has since become widespread: the multifunctional chair, whose shell can be combined with a variety of different bases for a wide range of uses.

Since 2024, the shells of the Eames Plastic Chairs have been made of recycled plastic, and the chair family is known as the Eames Plastic Chair RE and is 100% recyclable at the end of the product’s life cycle.
